The Shiants
Situated in the North Minch - the 'Stream of the Blue Men' - the Shiant (pronounced 'Shant') Islands are comprised of three main islands with a jagged reef running away to the south. Surrounded by strong tidal streams and offering little shelter, the Shiants are a wild and dramatic location, often thought of as a 'good second to St Kilda'.
